Evaluators

The evaluators are high-level project management experts who, in addition to their professionalism in project, program and portfolio management, have demonstrated that:

• they are fully familiar with the IPMA 4-LC certification system,
• they have a thorough knowledge of the documents required in the certification process and the candidate assessment methods,
• they have an IPMA certificate,
• they have received a recommendation from their own assessors,
• they are distinguished by continuous professional development,
• they regularly participate in training courses organized by SIPR.

Evaluators are appointed for this function by the SIPR Board.

Evaluators are required to:

• comply with all policies, procedures and regulations relating to the conduct of certification necessary to maintain impartiality and confidentiality,
• actively avoid conflicts of interest,
• objectively and impartially evaluate all applicants and candidates.

Evaluators assess the candidate’s capabilities based on one or more assessment methods, such as: the candidate’s application documents, oral statements and presentations, the candidate’s use of skills in practice, and their own observations of the candidate’s behavior.
